Scottish borders vacation

Our slow mornings, watching squirrels and bunnies out of our windows, spending days with books and evening by the fireplace, visiting Edinburgh and castles around it, walking in the garden with Aveline, – that all was our Crailing Coach House experience with Crabtree & Crabtree.

During our trip to Scotland last September, we spent four wonderful days in that cozy place in Scottish Borders. For the whole stay in Scotland, we rented a car, and it was the best decision when you have a one-year old child. We drove to see Edinburgh, which appeared to be somehow completely different than I had imagined it, we visited castles surrounding the capital, including those where the series “Outlander” was filmed.

It felt like some kind of vacation that you read about in books with all the romantic things you can do as a family of three in a lovely remote cottage. Here, we have made a short video about how it felt there.

Aveline’s outfits in the video are all from BabyMORI and Petit Bateau.
